When the box comes up that asks you to submit your entry, on of the boxes is Name:. The default is "Nick Name". Have you tried to change that? When you change that it saves your name.
However, I think that it saves it in a file that you may not have access to on a loaner machine. Let me know if it is a simple problem of not setting your name into the box.
