Each year I seem to mess up the same way. I have a program that needs to know the previous year and computes this by doing a lookup. After 18 years of running this board, I finally figured out how to subtract one from a year and get the year that I want.
By the way, Thanks to Doug Robertson for typing in almost all of the cryptoquips. We communicate once a year where he sends me a file of all the quips that he has typed in.
I than only have to type in the ones that he has missed.
